The National Forum for Cooperation of Religions in Finland

The National Forum for Cooperation of Religions in Finland (CORE Forum) brings together six religions: Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, the Latter-day Saints and Hinduism. The purpose of the CORE Forum is to foster social peace in Finland in the spirit of strengthening religious freedom by promoting interreligious dialogue, equality, mutual respect, and cooperation, as well as social action in the issues and networks that the Forum considers important. The CORE Forum has five thematic working groups: The Human Rights group, the International Affairs group, the Religious Education group, the Communications group, and the Equality and Gender Equality group. The groups are advisory expert bodies in their respective fields, whose task is to prepare matters for the Executive Committee of the Forum.
