The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN) Indonesia was founded in 2007 as a movement organization in which an exchange meeting point between women and youth of different faiths was created and, to strengthen trust and cooperation for the future. The progressive movement of AMAN Indonesia is to create a culture of religiosity that reflects both gender justice and nonviolent can be realized through the inclusive values of religious life that promote gender justice and peace building by continuing to improve the leadership capacity and women’s organizations at the grassroots level to take a strategic role in the public domain as an agent of change.
